Sehr geehrter Herr Bolle,

vielen Dank für Ihre Anfrage. Grundsätzlich ist der Betrieb mit einem Kopfhörer mit 3,5mm 3 poligem Anschluss vorgesehen. Wenn ihr Headset eine Belegung nach CTIA verfügt, können Sie auch das Headset mit unserem Booster 33057i verwenden.

Answer

To calculate the rated power for a 32-ohm headphone, we can use the formula for power in relation to resistance:

P1 = U²/R1 ; P2 = U²/R2

Here P1 is the power at 16 ohms (250mW), R1 is the resistance (16ohms), and R2 is the new resistance (32 Ohm).

Since the voltage U remains constant, we can use the ratio formular: P2/P1 = R1/R2

Substituting the values: P2/250mW = 16Ohm / 32 Ohm = 1/2

Therefore: P2 = 250mW x 1/2 = 125mW.

The rated power for the 32-ohm headphone is 125mW.
